Top Ten Trigger Points

Trigger Points can present themselves as referred patterns of sensation such as a sharp pain, dull ache, tingling,
pins and needles, hot or cold, as well as can create symptoms such as nausea, ear ache, equilibrium disturbance,
or blurred vision. These small, hyperirritable sites in the muscle tissue sometimes refer pain to other locations as
in headaches or sciatica.

Top Ten Trigger Points for Orthopedic Conditions

This class can be combined with 21 Deep Tissue Techniques.

This course works with common orthopedic conditions (frozen shoulder, back strains, plantar fasciitis and
more) to observe agonist/antagonist muscle relationships, focusing on the cause rather than the effect of
pain. By learning to work with trigger points of facilitated (shortened) musculature, the opposing inhibited
(lengthened) musculature can be released, alleviating the presenting location of pain. Learn palpation and
communication skills to work "with" a client's trigger points rather than "on" them.

Lymphatic Massage

Lymphatic massage is a gentle, often rhythmic type of bodywork developed in Europe and is growing in

popularity in the United States. Several forms of lymphatic massage are used to enhance immune function, treat
edema (fluid retention) and lymphedema and for esthetic applications.

Used by athletes to speed recovery
So gentle and non-invasive that it is often applied and used in post-surgical situation or when many
other forms of massage would be contraindicated

manner as we soothe and relieve our clients' aches and pains. Learn to use the heat of the stones as a medicinal
treatment not merely a spa experience.
